What agencies look for
Clean, versatile images shot to agency spec: strong eye contact, natural expression, simple styling, and enough range in one session to build or refresh a portfolio for child models and actors
Most agencies ask for two core shots: a head-and-shoulders portrait, and a full-length shot.
A mix of expressions matters too. A natural smile alongside a more neutral, relaxed look.
If your agency has sent specific guidelines, just share them ahead of time and the session will be built around their brief. I like to give children time and space to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Model photo shoots typically last 2 hours to ensure you get a good range of images for future use.
