Newborn Baby Photography London

A newborn baby photo session is best organised in the first two weeks after birth. The baby will be in this stage of life for a very short time so it’s important to book your London newborn photographer well in advance if you are keen to capture it before it’s too late. This is the time to get those sleepy, serene pictures when babies are not aware of what goes on around them yet and when it’s easy to ensure nice curled up poses.

As months go by, your little one grows from a tiny newborn to a smiling little person with unique character and constantly changing ways to communicate. There is something new to discover every day.

Sessions can last anything from 2 to 4 hours and can be unpredictable so it’s best to set aside plenty of time to ensure a good selection of images have been captured.

If you have missed those early days, do not worry. Baby photo shoots can still be arranged in the second, third etc. month when babies tend to be a lot more alert and curious about their surroundings. By month 6 or 7, most of our little models are already sitting up unsupported and there are plenty of opportunities for smiles, giggles and funny expressions.
